At The Coach in the Cupboard®, I value your time and commitment, just as I value the time reserved for your coaching.
These terms explain our payment, cancellation, refund and rescheduling arrangements so that we can work together with clarity and fairness.
These terms apply to individual coaching appointments booked with Rebekah Tyler, The Coach in the Cupboard® ("we", "us" or "coach").
They are incorporated into our Coaching Contract when presented and accepted before booking.
They do not replace separate purchase terms for online courses or membership plans, where applicable.
1. Prices and Advance Payment
All individual coaching sessions must be paid for in full at the time of booking, unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.
Your appointment will be confirmed once payment has been received.

The amount charged will be clearly displayed before you submit your order. Any applicable taxes or unavoidable additional charges will also be shown before payment.
2. Giving Notice to Cancel
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a coaching appointment.
The notice period is calculated backwards from the scheduled start time of your appointment.

3. Potential Deductions for Late Cancellation
Subject to your statutory rights, a deduction may be made from the fee already paid if an appointment is cancelled at short notice.
The following amounts are maximum deductions, not automatic charges.

Fair and Proportionate Charges
Any amount retained must be a fair and proportionate estimate of the direct financial loss caused by the cancellation.
This takes account of costs saved and reasonable steps to fill the appointment that has become available.
If the appointment is filled by another paying client, an equivalent fee is recovered, or costs are avoided, the amount retained will be reduced as appropriate.
We will not retain more than a reasonable amount for the financial loss directly attributable to the cancellation.
We will not recover the same loss twice. On request, we will explain how the deduction has been calculated and refund any remaining balance.
4. Rescheduling Appointments
If you request to reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment, we will offer a new available appointment without an additional charge.
Late rescheduling requests will be considered fairly.
If changing a booking causes a reasonable and unavoidable financial loss, a deduction within the maximum limits set out in Section 3 may apply.
Any unretained prepaid balance can be credited towards your replacement appointment or refunded where appropriate.
We will not impose a second deduction for the same loss.
5. OAC Inclusive-Session Exemptions
The Organised & Aligned Collective (OAC) provides certain coaching sessions as part of membership.
No late-cancellation deduction or additional fee applies to:
- Onboarding coaching sessions included for new OAC members.
- One-to-one coaching sessions included with OAC Gold membership.
Inclusive OAC sessions are exempt from the standard cancellation deductions.
These sessions will not automatically be forfeited solely because cancellation notice was late under this policy.
We nevertheless kindly ask members to provide as much notice as possible and to respect the practical arrangements of their membership.
Additional one-to-one coaching sessions purchased separately by OAC members at the discounted rate of £118 remain subject to the cancellation provisions in Sections 2–4.
6. Prepaid Courses and Coaching Packages
Where a separate online course or coaching package includes individual coaching sessions, the relevant purchased package terms govern:
- The number of coaching sessions included.
- Any applicable time limits for using sessions.
- Clearly disclosed and fair missed-session arrangements.
We will not charge twice for the same financial loss or impose an automatic penalty inconsistent with consumer protection law.
No additional fees apply to the inclusive OAC sessions exempted in Section 5.
7. Statutory 14-Day Cancellation Rights
If you purchase a qualifying coaching service online or through another distance-selling method as a consumer, you will generally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to change your mind and cancel without giving a reason, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.
To exercise this right, please notify us clearly before the cancellation period ends.

Coaching During the 14-Day Period
If you expressly request that coaching begins during the statutory cancellation period and subsequently cancel within that period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for services actually provided before cancellation.
This applies provided we have supplied the required information and obtained the necessary express request.
If the coaching service has been fully performed following your express request and acknowledgement that you will lose the right to cancel upon full performance, the statutory cancellation right may end.
General acceptance of these terms does not itself constitute the separate request or acknowledgement.
Statutory Refunds
Where statutory cancellation rights apply, the ordinary short-notice deductions in Section 3 do not override those rights.
If a statutory refund is owed, it will be made within the time required by law, normally no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to cancel the service contract.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise permitted and agreed.
8. Exceptional Circumstances and Cancellation by the Coach
Genuine Emergencies
We recognise that illness, emergencies and unexpected events can sometimes arise.
Please let us know as soon as reasonably possible if this happens.
We will consider the circumstances fairly and may reduce or waive an otherwise justified deduction or offer an alternative appointment.
Cancellation by the Coach
If Rebekah Tyler needs to cancel an appointment, you will be offered an alternative appointment at no additional cost.
If a suitable alternative cannot be agreed, the affected individual coaching session will be refunded in full.
This does not limit any further rights you may have under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or other applicable legislation.
We may revise these terms for future bookings.
The version accepted for an existing booking will not change retrospectively without your agreement.
